Okay, so I avoid posting twice in one day but I couldn't resist this. There are videos up advertising my blog! I think.
I mean, it is my blog, and I think he's advertising, but I can't be sure. Either way, here are the vids, thank you for doing them. The guy (who kinda looks like Jesus ... very suspicious indeed) seems to have lots of Mormonism things on his page, regardless, thanks.
That first video is so weird and confusing... They're both so short! But that's cool that you're getting attention.
ReplyDeleteHaha, you know i like the attention!

ReplyDeleteI have a thought for you. You've got a big group of followers and supporters. You're leaving the school shortly. How about a big demonstration for the rights of free thinkers? I really think you could send a message to the administration. Get a bunch of people involved and try to make a scene. Maybe you could even get the media involved. I'll help you out. I think you could make it easier for everybody here.
Haha, we have thought of this already. The group is growing more quickly then we expected, but it is still not large enough for something like that. Only maybe half the group is actually currently involved with BYU in some way. BYU wouldn't care about 50-60 students and would probably kick them out. But if we had hundreds and then hundreds more who supported us, then we may have some real sway. Not that BYU would actually change, but ex-mo and postmo groups would come out, members and students who feel compassion would support us, and then BYU probably wouldn't do anything.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the other guy. There are probly more people hiding than you know about, like you talked about in your other post. I could see BYU expelling one or two, but not like fifty or even more. I bet the first gay advocates at BYU were scared when they spoke up, but they did some good, and gays aren't kicked out now. The same could happen if you do something. Even if BYU doesn't do anything, you'll at least send a message, and who knows? You might change a few minds.
